Formatting and Submitting Poetry

Upload to Duosuma 3–8 previously unpublished speculative poems, that fit the Cthulhu Mythos theme, as a Pages, Word, RFT, or TXT file. Only use PDF if your poem has special formatting. If your work is not on theme, it has no chance of getting published, so don’t waste your time and mine. Include a brief message and an author bio of max 100 words. 


Submitting Artwork

Please list the names of your pieces and the media/techniques used.  Include a brief message and an artist bio of max 100 words. Attach pdf, png, jpeg, or svg files only. Send 3–8 works of art based on the Cthulhu Mythos.


Simultaneous Submissions

We accept simultaneous submissions, but be courteous and inform us immediately if a piece gets accepted elsewhere. 


Reprints

We do not accept reprints. Please submit new work only. 


AI Content

We accept only human-created poetry . 


Payment

We can’t pay contributors up front yet.  However, contributors will receive yearly royalty payments for each copy sold. The anthology will be on Kickstarter to raise money for author payments, so the payments could increase to $5, $10, $25 or $50 depending on how the Kickstarter campaign goes. 


Submission Fees

We don’t charge submission fees. 


Author Copies

We’ll send you a PDF  of the anthology. If you want a print version, you’ll have to buy at your favorite online bookstore. 


Publishing Rights

Island of Wak-Wak reserves the right of first publication for all works it publishes. You retain the copyright, but we suggest you wait a month out of curtesy before publishing it elsewhere.


Submission to Island of Wak-Wak and Eldritch Prayers constitutes acceptance of these terms.
